Who we are

At TrilloPsych, we know that we can all use a hand when navigating the complexities of life. We truly believe in the power of informed, compassionate, and holistic mental health care. This space is dedicated to making psychological insights accessible, relatable, and useful for anyone seeking greater clarity, emotional well-being, and inner balance.

Our mission is to explore the intersections of psychology, mindfulness, and healing by sharing thoughtful articles and resources grounded in evidence-based practice and real-world experience. Whether you’re curious about therapy, looking to better understand yourself, or interested in meditation and personal growth, this site is here to support your journey.

TrilloPsych was founded by Manuel Trillo Jr., M.B.A., a clinician-in-training currently completing his M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy. He is an active member of both the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and its San Diego chapter. TrilloPsych is rooted in a deep respect for the diverse identities and lived experiences that shape who we are. As a bicultural future therapist, Manuel brings a commitment to culturally responsive care, ethical practice, and lifelong learning in the evolving world of psychotherapy. While clinical counseling services will be offered in the near future, the current focus is on education, awareness, and meaningful dialogue through blog posts and curated resources.

This space is also committed to offering inclusive, affirming content that acknowledges the unique challenges faced by historically marginalized communities—including LGBTQIA+ individuals, BIPOC communities, and those exploring neurodivergence or spiritual identity. The goal is to create a welcoming environment where all people feel seen, supported, and empowered on their path to growth and healing.

As the field of mental health continues to grow and shift, our goal is to grow with it—offering insights that are compassionate, inclusive, and grounded in ethical care.
