About This Site
I know that we can all use a hand when navigating the complexities of life. I truly believe in the power of informed, compassionate, and holistic mental health care. This space is dedicated to making psychological insights accessible, relatable, and useful for anyone seeking greater clarity, emotional well-being, and inner balance.
My mission is to explore the intersections of psychology, mindfulness, and healing by sharing thoughtful articles and resources grounded in evidence-based practice and real-world experience. Whether you’re curious about therapy, looking to better understand yourself, or interested in meditation and personal growth, this site is here to support your journey.
TrilloPsych was founded by me, Manuel Trillo Jr., M.B.A., a clinician-in-training currently completing my M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis on Licensed Professional Clinical Counseling. I am an active member of both the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and its San Diego chapter. TrilloPsych is rooted in a deep respect for the diverse identities and lived experiences that shape who we are. As a bicultural future therapist, I bring a commitment to culturally responsive care, ethical practice, and lifelong learning in the evolving world of psychotherapy. While clinical counseling services will be offered in the future, my current focus is on education, awareness, and meaningful dialogue through blog posts and curated resources.
This space is also committed to offering inclusive, affirming content that acknowledges the unique challenges faced by historically marginalized communities—including LGBTQIA+ individuals, BIPOC communities, and those exploring spiritual identity and existentialism. The goal is to create a welcoming environment where all people feel seen, supported, and empowered on their path to growth and healing.
As the field of mental health continues to grow and shift, my goal is to grow with it—offering insights that are compassionate, inclusive, and grounded in ethical care.
